Ah yes, the moment we have been waiting for – that favorite time for many of us that only comes around every two years: GOTV – Get Out The Vote !
Attached is the GOTV schedule for the AFL-CIO/Working Families effort that AFGE always supports in a big way. While the Schedule shows days from now until Election Day, we are going to concentrate on Saturday through next Tuesday. This four day period will help shape the Congress that is so important to federal employees for the next two years.
There are locations throughout the State, so please review the list and select locations that will work for you. We expect a big AFGE Turnout in Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and Warren, especially for the 10:00 am Saturday morning shift, but you will be welcome whenever and wherever you choose to go.
Please plan on coming out to do a canvass or phone bank shift or two. Bring your family members and friends – they can be honorary AFGE Members for the Day! Help us elect Legislators that support Federal Employees.
