The President’s Voice: Challenges Unions Face

Brothers.& Sisters,

Right now Unions especially in the Government sector are facing challenges that Unions haven’t faced since the labor movement started in this country.  Settled issues are under attack by anti-union forces in the highest levels of our government.  The key to retaining the hard fought rights and privileges is still the same SOLIDARITY.  Ultimately the true power in this country still rests in a unified people which in this case is Unified Labor.  Things may temporarily get worse but if we stand together with all of our Brothers and Sisters in the Labor movement we can turn back the forces trying to eliminate the power of labor in this country.  Stay Strong More to come…
